The RN type1 TR 2002/A 1 user self-contained breathing apparatus (without cylinder) is a portable self-contained breathing apparatus.
RN is equipped with an automatic insertion regulator that keeps the pressure inside the facepiece positive, preventing any possible entry of external air inside the mask.

It is an open-circuit self-contained compressed air breathing apparatus with an escape hood (Emergency Escape Breathing Device) and is intended for use as a self-rescuer in all environments where dangerous situations can occur due to the presence of fire smoke or lack of oxygen. The light weight and special ergonomic shape of the bag allow the user to carry the SK1203 self-rescuer for extended periods of time so that it is ready for immediate use in an emergency.

SK1203 is designed to provide the user with a constant flow of air to get away from the hazardous environment, at the end of the air supply a special valve allows the user to breathe air from the environment which must then be uncontaminated.

The SK1203 consists of a cylinder, a valve/pressure reducer, a breathing tube, a cap and a containment bag. The 2-litre cylinder at 300 bar is connected directly to the valve/reducer with a pressure gauge that continuously indicates the pressure inside the cylinder. Connected to the valve/reducer is the breathing tube that feeds the hood and is positioned inside the bag so that the flow is automatically activated when the hood is pulled out. The rescue hood is a constant flow hood used in an emergency to rescue people in need.
It is simple to use and can be worn by anyone, regardless of the shape and size of the face. It can be used on any SPASCIANI self-contained breathing apparatus, connected to the second outlet on the reducer. The unit can be activated quickly and simply, by positioning it on the head of the person to be rescued and connecting it to the quick connector of the secondary delivery hose.
The rescue hood set is kept in a fireproof fabric bag which can be carried on the belt by means of Velcro loops and includes a 1200 mm medium pressure hose and the hood.
The use of the rescue cap has been tested and approved according to the EN 137: 2006 standard.
