The operating principle of the leakage tester is based on the overpressurisation (to a defined value) of a sealed chamber in which an SCSR has previously been placed.
The use of the UPG is mandatory when an SCSR is registered, undergoing technical inspections, and also when an SCSR is in operation.

The CARBOFit-400 leak test device is designed to check the tightness of CARBO breathing apparatus. The test is carried out in accordance with the user manual to check that the breathing apparatus is functioning properly and there is no critical damage, as well as if the moisture indicator changes colour to white or pink.
